A Contemporary Portrait of Islam in Germany
05.02.10, 22:06:23 by islamAccording to a survey in Mai 2006 about 83 percent of the asked persons agreed on the statement that Islam is a fanatic religion. About 62 percent think that it is backward. While 71 percent think it is an intolerant religion. 60 percent think it is not democratic. And 90 percent of the asked persons believe that Islam discriminates women (German Institute for Human Rights, Essay No. 7, April 2008, Berlin, page 4-5).
